Fulcrum is placed at a point around which the dynamics of the
surrounding landscape turn. A steep quarried wall sweeps round
to the east, and a deep gorge carves round to the west. A steep
twisting path approaches from above to the north, and drops
away following the curve of the river to the south. I have made
a work, which acts as a pivot in the landscape. A point at which
the landscape is metaphorically held.
